SIMBU HAS BEEN ASKED TO APPEAR BEFORE POLICE!

Tamil film on-screen character Silambarasan, prevalently known as Simbu, has been requested that show up before police on December 19 for a request with respect to a melody supposedly rendered by him, which professedly maligns ladies.

In view of a grievance held up by All India Democratic Women's Associaton with City Police Commissioner, An Amalraj, bodies of evidence have been enlisted against Simbu and Anirudh Ravichander, who have created the music for the Beep Song.

The summons was given over to the on-screen character's dad T Rajendar in Chennai, in which Simbu has been requested that show up at the Race Course Police station on Saturday, police said.

Music chief Ravichander, who is well known for forming tracks like Kolaveri Di, denied he made the tune for the tune.
