The Killers got their name from an anecdotal band in a New Order music feature in 2001, and now things have complete the cycle: NME reports that Brandon Flowers has been working with the notable band in the studio.
He's played with the band carry on a couple times some time recently, however this is the first occasion when they're chipping away at music together, to the extent we know. Furthermore, considering that Flowers' great new collection turns out one week from now, its more than likely that he'll be adding to New Order's next record, which will be their first without Peter Hook.
Anyway, its not unmistakable that it'll make the cut: "I may be on a New Order tune," he commented to The Independent. "So that is cool." Indeed it is.
