Previous U.S. President Bill Clinton said on Tuesday he will move once more into the White House if his wife Hillary wins the administration one year from now - "in case I'm asked."
In an extract from a meeting on the CBS "Late Show with David Letterman," Bill Clinton, who served as president from 1993 to 2001, was asked how he would rate his shots of moving once more into the official chateau.
"Above all else, Hillary needs to win the assignment. In the event that she wins the assignment, then she needs to win the race," Clinton said of his wife, the leader in the race for the 2016 Democratic presidential designation.
"In the event that she wins the race, the chances are 100 percent I'll move back ... in case I'm asked," he said to group of onlookers giggling.
Clinton included: "My experience is that since I went out, when a president of either gathering asks, you say yes. So I trust I'll be welcomed."
